Shree Sukhpur Seva Mandal (U.K.) was formed in 1966. The community has grown significantly since. Currently we have around 2600 members in the UK all of whom are fully supportive and generous.
Shree Sukhpur Seva Mandal (UK) is not only a community, but an organisation. Although we live in the UK, we have not forgotten our routes and where we come from. The 2001 Earthquake Relief and the Sukhpur Hospital Projects were great example of our influential support. Thanks to everyone coming together, showing support and giving donations we raise an immense amount of money to help the underprivileged people back in India. This would not have been successful without the compassionate and generous attitudes of our members.
Annually we organise a social gathering as a way of thanking our members for their support. These functions are run well and entertainment is provided by members as young as three years old. This shows how passionate and proud we all are about our gaam. In order for us to continue the hard work that the generations before us have already founded, we need more support from our younger generation in years to come, so we can pass on the legacy. We welcome all new ideas and support.
On behalf of the current Shree Sukhpur Seva Mandal Committee, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our members who have shown support to our community projects, and we hope they continue to do so for generations to come.
